What would be the ingredients of the “perfect murder”? How does one commit the “perfect murder” and get away with it. There are many steps to committing a murder, but how do you commit the “perfect murder”? It seems like the murder from the tale “Lamb to the Slaughter” was the perfect murder, but it was mediocre at best. Anyone can act as if they didn’t just kill someone and all that takes is a bit of practice and rehearsal. The “perfect murder” must be executed with the utmost precision and great deal of carefulness.

Steps must be taken to ensure you can get away with what most call a truly heinous act. First you must establish a concrete alibi so that you can guarantee that you won’t look like a suspect. Second before you go through with the murder you must be sure that there are absolutely no witnesses. Third you should make sure their are no clues at the scene of the crime that could lead back to you. Fourth you need to tie up any loose ends. Fifth you should make it look like an accident so that detectives will rule out the possibility of a murder. The sixth step should be to make sure that there is no noise during the act and that it should be quick. Seventh, it should be obvious that you can’t commit a murder in plain sight so it should happen in an area that wouldn’t have a lot of people that could be potential witnesses. You don’t have to use all of these steps but you should be able to pick out the ones you need and which ever you pick should be followed with great detail.

As common knowledge you should stay away from the scene of the crime and act accordingly based on the victim. If it was a boss or coworker you should act surprised, a friend you should act sad maybe even devastated, and if it was a random person you should act as though your life was completely unaffected.

The key part of being a murderer is not that you don’t have emotions but that you can control your emotions.
